Guide · Champion

You are a motivator and guide—not an instructor.

The course teaches itself—your job is the completion, not the event. Whether you run sessions or support a self-paced cohort, you're accountable for getting every participant registered, moving, and across the finish line. This page is everything that takes, on both pathways.

What a champion owns

  • Guiding every participant assigned to you to completion—the one outcome every other duty serves
  • Running your own events
  • Walking participants through ADA registration and enrollment
  • Capturing the complete participant list
  • Following up until every participant completes
  • Submitting attendance, completions, and documentation to the Program Officer
Onboarding first. Before your first event: finish the course yourself, complete the Champion's orientation, commit to the data privacy and safeguarding guidelines, and get access to the templates and materials.

Adopt learners who stalled—and earn when they finish

You don't need to run an event to land completions. Champions can opt in to support an assigned cohort of participants who started the course but haven't finished. Here's how it works, step by step:

  1. Opt in

Tell the Program Officer you're ready to support a cohort. You need to be an onboarded Champion—course finished, orientation done.

  2. Get your assigned cohort

SmartCT assigns you a batch of participants who registered and started but stalled along the way. You get a sanitized tracker for your cohort—enough to reach them and see where they stopped.

  3. Support them to the finish line

Check in, answer questions, help with the common blockers (login, tests, the discussion post), and invite them to the next webinar if they'd rather finish live. The follow-up scripts and nudge templates are on the Resources page.

  4. Earn for every completion you help land
Financial support for champions: PhP 3,000 for every 50 participants who successfully complete the course.

Synchronous or asynchronous—know the rule for each

Planning or promoting a session? The Event Types page describes the six participant-facing formats—from The Soft Launch (a 30-minute intro through Module 1) to The Hard Launch (the complete guided run)—with durations, differentiators, and examples you can reuse in your invitations and announcements.

The standard synchronous agenda (Hard Launch event)

Run end to end, this agenda is The Hard Launch—the complete guided run. It runs in two parts. Part 1 takes everyone from registration through Module 1; run on its own, Part 1 is The Soft Launch, and participants who leave there finish the rest asynchronously. Part 2 continues live all the way to full completion of the course. Adjust the buffer, not the structure. Budget generously.

Before · During · After

  1. Before the event

Choose the delivery mode. Pre-register participants. Check the venue and connectivity (or set up the online session). Prepare materials and confirm devices—the course is mobile-friendly, but laptops work better for tests and discussions.

  2. During the event

Run the standard agenda. Capture the complete participant list with all required fields. Get every participant registered and enrolled on ADA before the event ends. Troubleshoot the common issues: login problems, test submission, video playback on mobile.

  3. After the event

Submit your registration & attendance sheet and the short post-event report. SmartCT counter-checks your sheet against the ADA record and sends back a sanitized completion tracker—work from that to nudge weekly, and escalate persistent drop-offs to the Program Officer. The event isn't over until every participant has completed or the cohort window has closed.

What to prepare, what to submit

There is one form you must produce for every event and one short report afterwards. Everything else on this page exists to help you, not to be submitted. Templates live on the Resources page—they're being finalized, so check there for the current version rather than reusing an old copy.

No list, no event. The registration & attendance sheet is the one deliverable everything else depends on—it is what ties a completion on ADA back to your event, and therefore what credits the work to you. Submit it even if the event was small or attendance was low.

From completer to Champion

  1. Finish the course yourself

Every Champion is a completer first—you'll be guiding people through something you've already done.

  2. Sign up and get onboarded

Register through the Champion form, complete the Champion's orientation, and commit to the data privacy and safeguarding guidelines.

  3. Pick your pathway

Tell the Program Officer whether you want an assigned cohort, an event to run, or both—and get access to the templates and materials.

  4. Start landing completions

Everything you're accountable for is on this page; the scripts, sheets, and decks live on the Resources page.
